The RCM (Revolution Counter for Motorcycles) is a high-precision instrument developed by TEXA for measuring engine speed on large and small motorcycles.
The RCM is TEXA’s latest-generation tachometer, specifically designed for bikes, equipped with a display, battery, and Bluetooth technology. The RCM is built with an innovative measurement system that uses electromagnetic pulses generated by the ignition system to calculate the exact number of engine revolutions per minute. The RCM is compact and easy to use, making it a practical and reliable tool that meets the needs of all operators.
Accurate engine speed measurement is essential for compliance with the latest MCTCNet 2 test methods.
The RCM allows engine speed measurement without connecting cables or sensors to the bike, reducing the time required for authorized testing centers to set up and run tests.
SIMPLE, AUTOMATIC MEASUREMENT
The RCM uses a built-in antenna to analyze the firing frequency of the engine’s spark plugs.
Features

It requires no cables and is completely self-contained thanks to rechargeable batteries. The keypad allows you to select the number of cylinders and engine type (2- or 4-stroke), and the practical graphic display displays the measured engine speed.
Features
A green LED on the tool lights up to confirm the engine speed reading is correct. Measurements can be transmitted to the test center PC via Bluetooth or an RS232 serial cable.
