Disabling the lambda probe programmatically, using the “Truck Tools” program on your vehicle
By disabling the lambda probe programmatically, you no longer need to have a working rear lambda probe, as is the case with fake ones or emulators. Therefore, you no longer need to buy a working rear lambda probe if it breaks; you can simply remove it and sell it, for example, and install a plug instead. The program disables not only the lambda probe itself, but also all modes associated with its operation, including catalytic converter warm-up, maintaining a preset catalytic converter temperature, and power limitation during overheating, which will definitely reduce fuel consumption. Furthermore, this method will only be applicable to vehicles manufactured for the American market, as installing an emulator or decoy will not produce the desired result.
NOTE:
Starting with specification week 1 of the 2015, vehicles with MX-13 engines are not equipped with oxygen sensors.
Starting with specification week 5 of the 2015, vehicles with MX-11 engines are not equipped with oxygen sensors.
