Disabling the humidity sensor programmatically, using the “Truck Tools” program on your vehicle

The humidity sensor is a combination sensor in the air intake system. It measures relative humidity, temperature, and pressure. The measurement results are transmitted digitally via the E-CAN bus.

System Impact:

• Turbine Exhaust Pressure Calculation;
• Maximum Torque Limitation;
• Turbine Stall Detection;

In practice, disabling the humidity sensor has no effect on the system.
