Software-based ADBlue disabling is not available on all types of trucks and special equipment.
There are several options.
– Disabling with original software on dealer equipment, but with firmware for the same engines with a lower emissions system (Euro 2, 3, 4, and even Euro 0) depends on the engine type. This type of disabling is the only correct and effective. It is harmless to the engine, does not increase fuel consumption, and the original firmware and settings can always be restored. This reprograms several units, does not produce errors, and the car operates in the mode specified by the manufacturer.
– The second option is reading the firmware from the engine control unit and making adjustments using a home-made method in various HEX editors, such as Winols. Typically, this removes the torque limiter, removes errors in the EDBL, EGR, DPF system, and applies an error mask to prevent system malfunctions from being displayed on the dashboard.

DPF, HCI – (diesel particulate filter) – a closed-type diesel particulate filter that cannot be cleaned if it is more than 50% contaminated. The main function of a diesel particulate filter is to reduce soot, nitrogen oxide, and carbon monoxide emissions from the exhaust pipe, which are formed during incomplete combustion of fuel.
SCR – catalytic reduction of NOx by injecting an AdBlue (urea) solution.
Depending on the vehicle model and year of manufacture, it is advisable to use an emulator.
