Description

KESS 3 Master is a new-generation universal programmer from Alientech, designed to read and write engine control units and gearbox units in modern cars, motorcycles, trucks, agricultural machinery, and boats. Alientech KESS3 combines all the capabilities of the previous-generation devices: Kess v2 and K-Tag. The new KESS3 allows chip tuning professionals to work with the ECU both via the vehicle’s OBD-II diagnostic connector and on the bench in BOOT, BENCH, JTag, and BDM modes. The device’s capabilities are determined by the protocol set selected when ordering.

Improved KESS3 Features:

The new architecture and component base of KESS 3, a 7x more powerful processor, and a high-speed USB controller ensure 10x faster data exchange.
All common communication protocols are supported: Ethernet, FlexRay, CAN Bus, K-Line, L-Line, J1850, and J1708.
GPS, accelerometer, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi – all built into a single platform.

The tool works in conjunction with the original KSUITE software. Updates are released regularly, expanding the capabilities and list of supported vehicles and units.

KESS V3 is available in Master and Slave versions. The Slave version is dependent on the Master version and is tied to it. Typically, the Master provides a file service.

The KESS V3 device comes with a license for the protocols you need. The adapter and cables cannot function without licenses and are not sold separately.

After activating the protocols, you receive one year of free updates and technical support. The update subscription can be subsequently extended. If this is not done, the device will not crash and will continue to operate with the latest updates received during the active subscription period. If you missed an extended period of updates, please contact us to find out the cost of reactivating them.
