TruckTools

The “TruckTools” software, hereinafter referred to as the software, is designed to modify the parameters and performance characteristics of DAF vehicles.
The end user is solely responsible for the use of the software.
The user must have the necessary knowledge of mechanical engineering and the operating principles of certain vehicle components.
Improper use of the software may result in failure of various vehicle components.

Before you begin…

1. Your computer must have the latest Windows updates installed.

2. Your computer must have the DAVIE3 diagnostic software installed.

3. Your PC must have a stable internet connection.

How to use the TruckTools software

First window. You will need to enter your username and password, and you can also select the software interface language.

Second window. Select the desired application.

DAFTool – changing vehicle parameters.

Documents – DAF Euro 6 training materials.

FlashTool – programming units (used in conjunction with its adapter. Under development).

Updates – Downloading PRS updates.

DAF Tool

The “Systems” tab displays the systems installed in this vehicle (0G065128).

The “Software” tab displays the component and group numbers installed in this vehicle (0G065128)

The “Configuration” tab displays the component and group numbers installed in this vehicle (0G065128). “Main Parameters” displays a list of parameters available for modification on a specific vehicle.

This list of parameters is automatically generated based on the vehicle (chassis number), so the list will be different for each vehicle.

In the “Main Parameters” tab, select the parameters you want to change and click the “Apply” button.

After this, minimize (do not close) the application, launch DAVIE, and perform basic programming of the electronic systems that relate to the parameters you selected.

After programming, clear the errors, close DAVIE, and close the “TruckTools” software.

Attention!!! If you close the software in a different order, the DAVIE database may be damaged.

What vehicles does TruckTools support?

TruckTools does not work directly with any adapter. Therefore, all vehicles supported by DAVIE3 are supported.

Why do I need an internet connection to use the software?

The “TruckTools” software is a client-server application. A stable internet connection is required to log in and obtain the necessary data for the application to work.

Is the “TruckTools” software safe to use?

All parameters have been tested on real vehicles. The “TruckTools” software does not affect the vehicle programming process in any way; it only modifies the necessary parameters. DAVIE monitors this data and, after monitoring, generates binary files for programming the control units. Therefore, there is no need to worry about this software harming your vehicle!
