What does the DA-DoIP Dongle do?
The DA-DoIP Dongle connects directly to the vehicle’s OBDII (diagnostic) port and then connects to a laptop via a USB cable for use with the Jaguar Land Rover Pathfinder. After downloading the D-PDU driver files, this product will work properly with the Jaguar Land Rover Pathfinder software. The DA-DoIP Dongle has been tested and verified by Jaguar Land Rover for proper operation.
How does the DA-DoIP Dongle work?
The DA-DoIP Dongle is simple and easy to use. D-PDU drivers are available for download and installation from our website. Connect the DA-DoIP Dongle to the vehicle’s OBDII port (the device is powered by the vehicle). Connect the 2-meter USB cable to the DA-DoIP Dongle and the other end to the Pathfinder laptop. The LED (PWR) will turn red, indicating the DA-DoIP Dongle is powered. While communicating with the vehicle, the status indicator (STS) will flash green.
How is the DA-DoIP Dongle updated for future software updates?
We will periodically update the device firmware through the DA App Hub and other supporting software via our website. These updates are necessary either to expand the device’s functionality or to resolve issues in the field.
If problems occur while using the device, always ensure the device software and drivers are up-to-date.
Vehicle Coverage:
The DA-DoIP Dongle has been tested by Jaguar Land Rover on the latest line of vehicles covered by the Pathfinder.
Note: It does not support older ISO9141, J1850 PWM protocols or FEPS programming voltages found on older vehicles.
